Relational DB system (PHP+MySQL)

....Мой клиент обслуживает WiFi AP's для так называемых "hotspots" и 3rd parties, ему нужна система, чтобы управлять эксплутационными данными (helpdesk и accounts).

....Часть его AP’s находится в муниципальной сети, доступ контролируется Radius сервером по NOC и контроллерами доступа по WLAN. Другие AP’s находятся в разных местах (т.е. школы, офисы и т.п)

....Необходима онлайн база данных т.е. "relational DB system" (на PHP, использующая MYSQL) чтобы вести записи для всех точек. У моего клиента уже работают приложения использующие MYSQL, захостенные на его же серверах.

Вид должен быть следующий:

Обычный login с userID’s (пользователи будут с разными правами) + пароль

Main tables:

1. Location is a building with whom we have contract to install and manage WiFi. From 1 AP to big WLAN. Location has manager, owner, detailed address, business relationship and dates of milestones like activation, maintenance ++.

2. People is a traditional table with names, phones, emails, etc.

3. Biz model for planning and reporting. Many biz models; siting public hotspots for free, or a monthly lease price for a complete network. Not yet agreed how to do this module, but want to collect costs--monthly rent, monthly electricity charge, 1-time install costs, equipment costs etc and revenue-- monthly fees, sales price.

4. Hotspots can equal a location, but can also be the building next door which has no AP, but good coverage. To advertise all places where people can sit and get connected, and to trace a customer helpcall from hotspot to location, to controller to the NMS.

5. Installed equipment = AP’s, routers, switches, meshnodes, controllers ++ per location. MAC address, IP address, serial number +++ related to equipment, installation and config.

6. Backhaul. At the mom a big number of ADSL lines, will gradually grow to hybrid, including mesh, rented fibre and bridged AP links. Development this module will follow the real infrastructure growth. May extend this module to include resale business of ADSL.

7. Lookup tables such as equipment models, postcodes, lots of categories ++

Typically, the initial data flow will be:

1. Acquire location, agree on business details

2. Install , configure equipment, fix backhaul

3. List new hotspots

Daily work is activities like replacing unit of equipment, selecting for replacement, tracing hotspot to a controller or the other way round, checking contract renewals or due payments.

Fairly simply GUI’s for different operators to query and edit data. To be spec’d at the beginning of the project.

Facility to compose a query + a data sort + field selection which can be saved by the user.

Reporting from a report generator with output to screen and Excel.

Full transaction log.
