Реализация модуля управления памятью

Необходимо реализовать прототип подсистемы управления памятью для существующей системы.

Описание:

The goal is to develop efficient memory usage engine to replace existing engine in AFIS product. The primary purpose of the engine in the production system is to load fingerprint templates from the database into memory and serve coming biometric search requests on the fly without talking to the database upon each request. Current version of the engine is not designed for loading large amounts of data. As a consequence, it does not efficiently work with data from the one hand, and do not control memory usage to prevent overloading the system from the other. The new version of the engine should efficiently utilize as much RAM as possible within 3Gb or 4Gb limit per 32bit process on 32/64bit OS correspondently. The goal of this project is to create a prototype, a working model which can be further integrated into production system.
