Senior SQL Developer (Microsoft SQL Server 2005)

We require a Microsoft SQL Developer (Microsoft SQL Server 2005) to work in a high caliber team whose task is to continue the development of a very complex, large, fully scalable world-leading e-commerce web site. This is a full-time position based in Riga, Latvia.

Skills Required / Candidate Profile

•Exceptional Microsoft SQL 2005 Developer and database designer in complex, large, high performance and scalable databases, with substantial traffic load

•3+ years of practical, hands-on SQL development experience and 5+ years working experience

•Experience with project management and formalized development processes

•Experience in managing a team of SQL developers as their technical leader

•Understands the need to follow procedures and is able to create functional and system specifications

•Good communicational skills and the ability to motivate other members of the team

•Thorough knowledge of T-SQL and optimizations, best practice techniques, tips & tricks, common mistakes

•Logical, analytical, structured mind

•Spoken and written English

•Affiliate/partner program/MIS – improvements and new features, back office

•MIS/Statistics – reporting and statistics, MIS

•New features e-commerce site – development of new features on the main e-commerce site
