ETL/Informatica Cosultant:
Position Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development and deployment of the ETL and
data management processes
- Develop and deploy ETL job workflows with reliable error/exception
handling and rollback framework
- Identify and resolve data loading/transformation and performance and
production issues
- Document ETL design and test results
Informatica skillset:
- Hands-on experience in Informatica, preferably 8 or higher
- Experience designing, implementing, optimizing and troubleshooting
Informatica/ETL mappings, sessions, worklets and workflows
- Creating ETL design documentation
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and ETL designing, Star Schemas
- Experience administering Informatica PowerCenter, preferably 8 or higher
- Strong database experience, particularly Oracle 10g
- SQL, Oracle PL/SQL experience
- Data analysis skills
- Experience using Unix and Unix based tools is a plus
- Experience in Banking domain is a plus
