This 57.6 square meters flat was designed for a young couple who lives in Kiev.
Because the owners have different daily schedule, we had to remodel it in such a way, that in any moment one of them could have a private space to rest, or to work. The new floor plan had to include fully functional living room, bedroom and a kitchen. And a hallway. The main problem was that there are only two windows in the apartment.
As a result, the bedroom is now located in the back of the apartment and is separated from the living room with a solid glass wall. By using such a solution, we visually expanded both spaces. When needed, the glass window in the bedroom can be closed with a curtain. At the same time, the living room and the kitchen can be separated with a sliding panel.
