USB2PC Sync

Application consists of the following main parts:

- Configuration utility (GUI, defines several profiles per user, defines items to be synchronized per profile, stores/retrieves configuration, defines a default profile)

- Pop-up watcher for monitoring free space on USB device and current activities.

- File system watcher (hooks events selected in the applicable profile)

- Plug&play watcher (hooks event arisen as a result of attaching/de-attaching USB device, launches synchronizers defined in the actual profile)

- File synchronizer (synchronizes files according to the types selected in the current profile, launches Data stream filter)

- Mail synchronizer (synchronizes mail from the following mail clients Microsoft Outlook(including calendar and contacts), The Bat(ritlabs.com), and Thunderbird(mozilla.org), launches Data stream filter)

- IPOD content synchronizer (synchronizes contents for IPOD devices, launches Data stream filter)

- Profile synchronizer (synchronizes profiles, launches Data stream filter)

Data stream filter (Compressor/decompressor for data storage on USB, ZIP format, supports password protection)
