We're Videoly – a startup from Helsinki, Finland that helps online stores by automating the discovery and embedding of product review videos from social media.

We're looking for a JS ninja who would like to work remotely for an international company that gives developers freedom, respect, flexible hours, their own working environment, and a salary in EUR.

We have a highload Node.js API service hosted in the cloud, AngularJS apps for customers and our own needs, and both search engine and NLP problems in the eCommerce domain.

Here's what you will be doing:

• Back-end: Building analytics that process billions of events and make customers say "Wow, cool!".
• Back-end: Developing highloaded API servers that provide users with Videoly widget and video content.
• Front-end: Working on AngularJS dashboards for customers as well as internal content-related tools.
• Front-end: Working on Videoly widgets that are immediately seen by millions of shoppers.
• Front-end and back-end: Improving our website.
• Touching hard problems in the NLP area and search technologies (if you wish).

• Solid understanding of JS/HTML/CSS stack and web technologies in general.
• Experience with Node.js and front-end frameworks (e.g., AngularJS).
• Experience with PostgresSQL, MongoDB or other DB (a huge plus);
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn a lot in a short time (i.e., can you handle the guaranteed high demands on your brainpower?).
• Willingness to continually learn and improve.
• Experience or interest in ML, NLP, and search technologies (a big plus).
• Past experience working with Magento or other eCommerce platform is an advantage.
• Ability to write and understand in English; fluency is a huge plus.

• Ever refused to do something because "it's not your job."
• Want to be left alone to code forever.
• Don't mind leaving work unfinished, as long as you arrive at 9 AM and leave at 5 PM.
• Prefer job security to building great things.
• Like to use obscene language at work.

• Are able and willing to take ownership of the front-end and/or backend.
• Knows a thing or two about AWS.
• Speak other language than English or Russian – we're international and love to have more languages on board.
