As an employer or contractor of translators and/or interpreters, I will adhere to the above standards in my work. Further, when entering into a working relationship with translators of written and oral texts, I undertake to comply with the following requirements: A. I undertake to establish my contractual relationship with translators in writing and state my expectations before starting work. B. I will adhere to agreed terms, pay schedules, and agreed changes, and will not unreasonably change job descriptions after commencement of employment. C. I agree to contact the translator or interpreter directly for all inquiries. If any issue cannot be resolved, we will appeal to the arbitration court. D. I agree not to require translators or interpreters to perform unpaid work with the prospect of deferred payment. E. I will not use the track record of translators or interpreters in bidding or promoting my business without their consent or without the good faith intent to use their services. F. For translations intended for publication in written or oral form, which are under my direct control, I undertake, as appropriate, to respect the copyright of the translator.
